Frequently Asked Questions

Here at Loyola we accept credits with a C or higher from any two-year or four-year accredited college or university. We do not accept any remedial, technical, or physical education courses.

Credit evaluations are automatically provided to accepted students within ten days of admission.

Yes, a credit evaluation can be completed prior to an application being submitted and/or a decision being released upon request from the student. They must provide an unofficial transcript from each school they previously attended in order for a credit evaluation to be completed. (This applies to Dual Enrollment students as well).

If you notice a course you completed is not included in your credit evaluation, and you feel that it should be, please question this. Oftentimes, different colleges and universities may title courses differently than we do, and therefore we may ask for a course description or syllabus to determine if it is equivalent to a course we offer here at Loyola.

The final application deadline for transfer applicants is two weeks prior to the start of each semester. All supplemental materials must be submitted by this deadline.
